I have 4 contracts with Vodacom. Three of them coming up for an upgrade, the other one is already upgradable.
Tried to upgrade online, was declined. Phoned the call centre - was declined without a reason given.
Tried to take out a new contract - declined.
The reason it was declined is because of a payment in November. The debit order was returned and when I found this out I made a manual payment.
Then I get transferred to the Acquisitions department to assist, but it needs an IBR code, I don't have one, so I get disconnected.
I need Vodacom to contact me ASAP as I want to cancel all my contracts including my data contracts.
I have been with Vodacom from 1999 and never had issues, but this is the first and final.
I will take my business to a cell phone company that really wants it.
DO NOT get a call center agent to call me to cancel. I am g@tvol of getting transferred without anything getting done.
Get the Accounts manager to call with the cancellation fees and procedure.
