I received call offering a CALL RATE DISCOUNT, I asked if I would be on contract because I DO NOT want that I was assured it was NOT a contract. The "contract" was due to start 1 July 2013, it started august 7 2013. I never received a copy of terms and conditions as I was promised. July 2013 I had called to cancel contract, way within 14 day period. The request was submitted and cancelled within the same hour. they have been helping themselves to my bank account for months even though I've cancelled at least once a month. They have informed me now that I owe R1300 to cancel the contract, nobody cares to check records of voice recordings (I've requested and was assured they would get back to me - never happened) last month R167 was debited from my account 3 times on the same day for "non payment" - I've been paying every month for their mistake nobody bothers to check or contact me. I've spoken to contracts, cancellations and care center managers I am aghast with the lack of interest in this issue that is costing me more than I have to give, they have created debt in my bank acc. I want an investigation for this incompetence and repayment before I take it to media/take legal action.
