Billed for a contract without benefits

I took out the contract some time ago and I have not been using it because it's an open line. I decided to make a sim swap on Saturday to use it. I did not find any airtime and the contract says the airtime accumulates for three months and the one for the fourth month falls away continuously. So I expected to get the 3 months airtime value. I called to ask on Saturday and I was told that the case was opened and the Escalation Department was going to call me to resolve this matter in 24-48 hours. I called yesterday and was told that the matter is still with them and again this morning and I was told that they will call me when the case is attended to.

I am really disappointed because I was considering upgrading my contract with them when this one is due for upgrade. If I don't get the benefits, they are not getting any more cents from me. I will block the debit order before the 25th.
