Me and my father signed up for a line and its installation on 07/01/14. i was told that it would not take more then 7 - 14 days for the installation to occur. A week later i phoned Telkom to find out when they were planning to install and was told that it was arranged on the 17/01/14. I subsequently waited at home the entire day for the technician which didn't show up. Today i have phoned the call center to find out what happened and when installation would occur with no success. I then went into the Hatfield branch where i received extremely bad (rude) service and was told that the installation will occur on the 29/01/14. This is an entire week longer then the maximum time it was promised to take, and with no guarantee that a technician will actually show up.

Is it really so hard to keep to your promises and actually provide a service when you say you will? Why should i not cancel the installation before being locked into a contract if this is the kind of service your going to provide in future. Please rectify where you have gone wrong, stop wasting my time and actually provide a line that I'm am going to pay for!
