Vodacom saying i signed a 36 month contract

My 3G contract is coming to a end at the end of January, I called up the Vodacom helpdesk to give my 30 day notice only to be told that I will be paying a premature cancellation fee of R6000.00 because according to them the contract was taken out over 36 months. According to the information shown on the system at the Vodacom stockist where I initially signed the contract it was on a 24 month contract which started on the 29th January 2012 and ended on the 29th January 2014.

After numerous calls to the helpdesk that are adamant that I am on a 36th Month Contract. On one occasion even the call desk consultant dropped the phone down in my ear. I am disgusted with the service I have received from Vodacom and being the leading service provider in SA I expected more. They seem to be more interested in taking your money than helping you with queries.

Disgusted Client will not refer my friends or colleagues to use Vodacom in future as a service provider.
