NO TELEPHONES FOR 3 WEEKS!!!

On Sunday 22 December we had a heavy rainstorm, and the lightning strucked a tree, which fell over our telephone cables. On Monday 23 December I logged a problem with Telkom via the sms line (as we can't make calls). They sent me a reference number saying a technician will call me within the next 2-3 days. That didn't happen. When we reopened on 2 January for the new year there was still no telephones. I drove to a Telkom office, phoned the business number (10217), and talked to an operater. He informed me that they know about the problem, but it has been sent to the wrong department?? So he told me that he will sent it to the right department and promised me that someone will call me within 2 days. That didn't happen. My colleague also went to the office and couldn't get anything sorted out. He also logged a problem with a new reference number. Nothing happened. On 17 Jan there was a guy working at the box near our offices, my colleague went to the technician and begged him to help, after some explaining that we are a church, the guy agreed to help us. He only could repair one broken cable, and said the rest is on another department and also logged a problem. Still no response!!!
