Since I have returned from holiday on the 6th Jan 2014 my adsl has not been working. I have officially spent 1 hour and 10 min on the phone with telkom trying to sort out the issue I then spent a further 1hour and 35min at the telkom branch and no one has been able to assist to any degree. Everyone I speak to says they cant assist me and say they cannot file a complaint because a complaint has already been filed on the 7th. (Which was not me). They informed me that I should buy a phone to attach to the telkom point (I only use the router and have no need for a phone) so that I can hear if there is a ring tone, I did so and there is none although when I phone telkom from another line they tell me that the above mentioned line is working fine. Today is the 19th of Jan and I've had zero assistance despite my patience and many attempts. The incompetence of telkom has been jaw dropping. I've spent alot of money as I've bought a new phone, I've had to pay for another form of data and I've wasted alot of money calling for long from my mobile (as I had no other option). For the sake of saving money and for the sake of my sanity I am giving telkom until tomorrow evening to fix the problem
