MTN WhereRU useless

I had MTN WhereRU for a very long time with no complaints. I have a couple of numbers listed on the account, and all of them confirmed that they could be located via the SMS sent the first time the number is added on the system. Recently I urgently needed to locate a family member, that was listed on the account from the beginning, but it did not work. All it did was sent an SMS to that number asking for them to give their consent to be located (again). How is this in any way the type of family-security advertised? Lets say the family member was abducted?? I pay monthly to have this service on demand, but you did not bring your part. I hereby request a full refund on ALL the monthly payments for my MTN WhereRU service, because it was not working like it should. It is no good if it suddenly stopped working. I was not notified. It could have been a situation of life and death. I did submit a support request through the MTN WhereRU portal, but to date I received no response.
