Pathetic excuses on ineffuciency

My contract expired on the 28/12/2013. After being contacted numerous times by I burst sales to renew, I explained just let it expire.By the 27/12/2013 I no longer had a connection so I thought -it s expiring tomorrow so they've cut my signal which was correct. On the 2/01/2014 I noticed the payment for Jan being debited and contacted them to refund me as the contract has expired. I was told that in terms of the agreement I had to notify them two months in advance of my choice to cancel- Cancel an expired contract??? So I told them but I have no signal?! I was told to call technical but I would be liable until the end of Feb. FINE! I contacted technical this morning to be told that my modem is not linked to my account, for two years it has been linked?! I must call accounts on Monday??? This is bad service and against my consumer rights. I didn't want to renew because the speed is too slow and I have an alternate connection at work. Pathetic
