It amazes me how incompetent MTN staff can be. I transferred a contract to my name and was told that I could only upgrade once the transfer went through. Okay, that's fine. I was called on Monday, and was told I could come in on Tuesday for the upgrade, Tuesday I received a call from MTN saying that they hadn't put the new iphone stock on the system so I would have to come Wednesday instead. So Wednesday I arrived at the store, only to find that the consultant who said she would be there had taken the day off and that the iPhones were still not put on the system. I was told to come back the next day (Thursday). I received a call that morning by the same consultant saying that my upgrade was ready and I could come in after work. So, after work (18:00), I came in and was told that the upgrade could be organised, after 15 minutes of waiting, I was told by the same consultant that client service closes at 18:00 so they cannot process my upgrade. Why was I told that I could come in after work (3 days in a row) when client service closes at 18:00? To make matters worse, the supposed contract transfer (which I was told had been processed) has not actually been processed after all!
