CANNOT CANCEL SERVICE

Buyer be ware, do not sign a contract with MTN, you can't cancel it. They just ignore you.

I have sent a written notice of cancellation on the 8 of November 2013, MTN clearly ignored and carried on debiting my account.

On the 8 of January, I sent another notice, to all known email addresses of MTN. Not a peep from them.

Today I contact their "brilliant" call centre after waiting 20mins a person answered and the dropped the call, after all who wants to speak to a customer.

I tried again, waited 25mins only to be told they have no record of the notice (why have an email address) and this person cannot do cancellations, he'll transfer... 15mins later call dropped...

Ombudsman and SAPS here I come.
