I recently converted from mtn to vodacom when i bought my phone on contract and it was under my dads contract as he is already an existing customer for 10 years. when i got the contract it was for R389 p/m and everything was agreed and signed upon. a month later my dad got the bill on 3rd October saying I owe R5000, I called to query this in October and cases were lodged but did not receive any feedback even after me following up numerous of times and then they called on the 26th of November and I spoke to Craig Julius who advised they would credit me and I would only have to pay R700 given that I had used the phone, I did pay the amount of R800 and called Vodacom to unlock my phone then I was told by Siyabonga that I infact owed R3000 . (Mind the fact that the bill kept changing during my query being lodged from R5000 to R4000 to R7000 then back to R4000 and now R3000).now the phones are locked and me and my dad cannot use our phones. i thought i was moving to a great network as my dad convinced me but all ive exprienced is just nonsense.
