Pathetic- lack of service

I have been with Cell C for almost 11 years now and I recently signed up for purchased 2 contracts. It's only been about 3 months into the contract with the device: Samsung S4 mini, the charger is faulty and hols a 6 month warranty. I contacted the service centre and they advised me to take the device and the phone to a Cell C store. I am extremely tech savvy and I am 100% sure that there is absolutely nothing wrong with my handset, but the sales person at the Cell C Braamfontein store stated that the device and charger needs to go to the Cell C service centre for a "few weeks". This is impossible as I need my phone and why inconvenience me when the charger is definitely the issue and not the phone. If this policy is in place to dissued the consumer not to have the iussue looked into, then this is the last time that Cell C will getting my business in the form of contracts. Customer retention rate is pathetic at Cell C and the effort put into retention.
