I logged various faults and even escalations with Telkom that my current voice service and ADSL was inactive since 23 Dec 2013. My services have not been working correctly at my premises since the installation of my ADSL line in December 2013, followed by various attempts to have them install the line in the first place.

A technician was on site on 31 Dec 2013 but did not even investigate to rectify the problem. I was told that the problem would be rectified by 4 Jan 2014. This was not the case, and since then, I have not received any communication from telkom to restore my service.

I received an SMS on 6 Jan 2014 to inform me of the service that was restored however, this is not the case and the problem has not been rectified. The fault ticket was just closed, without anything being done regarding the fault!! I still am unable to make telephonic calls, as there is no dial tone. My ADSL line (Internet) is completely offline and I am unable to access the internet.
