Samsung Cell phone Bad news

I want to tell future Samsung users of my bad experience with my phone and Samsung as a company. I upgraded in December 2013 from a Blackberry to a Samsung Galaxy Zoom. Within a week of purchase the battery life did not even last one day. I had it tested at the Vodacom shop that same week and was told there is nothing wrong with the battery the GPS was apparently on. But even with the GPS off and every other app as well the battery life still did not last a day. Apparently that is a condition with all Samsung phones (I was not informed about this with upgrade). A month later my touch screen works on and off and the lens of the camera does not close completely I am a medical practitioner and although I need my phone for everyday use, I handed the phone in at Samsung centre, Canal walk for repairs and /or Replacement. In an email Ryno informed me they cannot tell how long it will take to repair. Samsung will not replace or exchange my phone, it will be sent to a third party for testing and repair. In the mean time I have to use my husbands old phone, a blackberry and pay a fee to get my blackberry activated again. Samsung will not replace my phone with a different one
