Promo fee on cell phone accounts

I found out today that MTN charges a Promo service fee and this charge is for the duration of your contract however the charge should be removed at the end of your 24 months (this is apparently the charge for your hand set)... but they don't so you are being charged every month for something you should not. Very disgusting business ethics in my opinion!!
