2 year warranty.. Lol!!

On December 30th I took my phone in to vodacom canal walk due to the fact that the screen on my sony remained blank.

12 days later and I had heard nothing.
Today I went In to the store, and had to deal with an arrogant, rude Anele.
I was advised that my phone is now with sony and they are awaiting approval of a quotation to fix my phone due to the fact that my charger point is DAMAGED which in essence voids my warranty. What?! My phone charged quite fine when bringing it in. My issue is also not with the charging, it's with the screen.

So what happened to the quote that I was supposed to approve vodacom?
And please outline where in my terms and conditions does it state that a damaged charging point voids a warranty. Please further outline how the charging point damaged relates to my screen switching on and off.

I am utterly disgusted in this service and will refuse to pay my monthly statement should this not be sorted as of yesterday.

Ps: Anele requires some serious customer service training.
