I recently had an upgrade on my business phone contract on the 30th December 2013 and wanted to urgently add another phone/line for an employee. I completed all the forms, as I was told the extra phone amounted to a new contract. I was informed by my local Mtn store that that they should hear back within 24hrs. After 4 days I enquired why the delay, they did not know and said they cannot contact anyone to see why the delay as they were a francise, we just had to wait endlessly on Mtn to respond. On the 2nd January 2014, after calling the call centre, I was then told they could not deal with business contracts. The store advised that it should be quicker if I dealt with the Mtn sales direct on line, which I tried to do. Two emails were sent to the business sales department on two separate days and to date (11th Jan) I still await a call. If I treated or ignored my clients the way Mtn do, I would be out of business within no time at all. I understand that departments do not thousand of client continually barraging them with questions, but if they had a human voice of reason the other end of the phone who would follow up your query then there would be less complaints.
