I have been struggling to do a sim swap for the last 2 weeks. Can't use my new phone without a micro sim.

Anyways tried the sim swap process 3 times now. Each time wasting a considerable amount of my time going into the shop or on the phone. You can expect a 40 minute waiting time from MTN before you get to a consultant. Then they are rude, unhelpful and lazy.

After explaining to the guy at the shop that it's the 3rd time I am trying the sim swap he told me I have to keep trying! What the. This is utterly pathetic. MTN must be the worst company currently operating in South-Africa. Why do you to people and tell them it takes 2-24 hours? I have been waiting almost 2 weeks. I'm pretty sure this 3rd try is not going to work either. I have also posted on Facebook, and received promises of looking into and coming back to me. Another straight up lie.

The lady who phoned me to do the upgrade told me my new phone would cost less than my old one. Which is the only reason I did the upgrade as I was happy with my old phone. Another lie, turns out the new phone is about R100 more. I do not want one of your false 'Sorry for the inconvenience replies'. That doesn't fix you MTN.
