I recently upgraded my MTN contract. I was on the MTN Anytime 200 Top-up contracted. I sow a special that was advertised under the ANY TIME 200 contracted for R 399 a month. When I want to upgrade I was informed that the ANY TIME 200 and the ANY TIME 200 TOP-UP is not the same thing?

I asked them on why this is not the same thing as both is anytime 200. I was informed that if I wanted to stay on my package I have to pay about R 460 on the same contracted and that I will not get all the privileges as advertised. Do'nt understand why this is..

I then upgraded but I had to do a sim swap as the new phone as it takes a smaller sim. This was on Tuesday. I paid for all this. That same night I received a SMS informing me about the sim swap. On Wednesday the new sim was not active so I phoned MTN (808) and the told me that there was no sim swap on their system. This is strange as I received an SMS from them informing me about this.

I phoned the shop where I got the new sim from and informed them about this. They re-logged a request for a sim swap and I received a second SMS informing me about the sim swap. Up till now still nothing. The old sim is still working and I cannot Use my phone
