UNABLE TO RECEIVE SMSES FROM EUROPE!!!

I am incredibly appalled by MTN's service! I have two children living in Europe, NEITHER of whom can send me smses. They receive mine, but I cannot receive theirs. I have been to the MTN's officeS at least 5 times and have called them countless times too. The excuses - your inbox is full, your cellphone is off. Do they think I am that incapable of operating a cellphone and believe such lame excuses! Neither of these is true, as I receive smses from Oman, South Africa - all BUT Europe where my CHILDREN are!
Furthermore, if my children send smses to Vodacom or Cell C they arrive IMMEDIATELY, so the issue is not with their overseas service providers.
Then, MTN blamed it on international security measures. This doesn't make sense either, as Vodacom and Cell C receive smses from my children. Also, why should my children, one of whom is a student in Germany, the other working in Greece for 5 years, be deemed security threats by MTN but not by the other cellphone providers???
My husband and I pay thousands a month for a service, part of which we are not getting. This problem is affecting both my husband, and my cellphone numbers: 083 44 66 888 and 083 26 777 84 (BOTH with MTN!).
