We went to Vodacom on Friday, 3 JAN to get a cell contract. The deal expired on 6 JAN.We completed the app & they didnt even request our RICA docs! We were told that our "portfolio" was not high enough to qualify, but that they can call to have it lifted that would take 24 hrs, then they would call us.24 hrs passed & we didnt receive any call. We called the branch & another consultant told us that nothing has been done & that he will get our consultant to phone us. A few hrs later they called us & told us that our portfolio has been lifted & that they needed stamped bank statements for them to proceed. We took bank statements the next morning (Sun, 5 Jan) & WE had to mention our RICA docs which a consultant then took. This other consultant refused to help us initially then eventually said he would submit our docs & call us in 2 hrs. No call. We called on Mon again, they said our portfolio HADNT been lifted & they couldnt even find our docs! Confidential docs! We went in on Tuesday & they said we could now get the contract as the port was lifted but the deal was expired so we wud have to pay R80 more pm! How can you penalise the client FOR YOUR STAFF'S INCOMPETENCE! WE WERE THERE IN TIME TO QUALI
