In May/June '13, Iburst contacted me to renew my annual contract. I did not want to renew, because I already had 2 modems, and did not see the point of having 3 modems. They explicitly stated I stay with Iburst on a monthly contract at a reduced monthly contract (seeing I do not pay for a modem anymore) On the 7th Jan 2014, I phoned to cancel my contract on the 31st Jan '14, and one should have guess. Now all of a sudden I have a annual contract, and now all of a sudden there are penalty fees to cancellation before July 2014. I'm not even getting into the struggle to get somebody on the line to listen to me. The 1st operator put the phone down when I asked her name, the 2nd one put me on hold to listen to 2 cats fighting and the 3rd one just cut me off again. (These operators made very sure nobody else will employ them!) I have no problem paying till the end of the month, but do not make me out as the. I cannot understand why CEO's or General Managers of Companies do not phone their own Companies to find out how good or useless the operators are. One has only to look at the complaints dep. at Hello Peter to see in what state Iburst is in.
