I took out a 2 yr anytime contract with fixed rate. When we activated the phone we got an 081 nr. My daughter used the phone for almost 10 mnths before losing it. Due to incorrect capturing of my address I never received a statement, so when my daughter lost the phone we tried to block the sim card & phone only to discover that the number allocated to my contract was a 071 number and that the nr we were using was allocated to someone else. After several very frustrating calls and having to re-explain the problem to various agents someone realised that the 081 was incorrectly allocated and was in fact our nr. He promised to rectify this on his side so to avoid future confusion. My daughter subsequently found the phone and we are now trying to reactivate the sim card, only to discover that it STILL shows on the system that this nr belongs to another individual! In the last 2 days I have spoken to 5 different people, one in legal department who said she would unblock the sim card immediately. Phone still not working and told by another person in legal they will log a complaint which will take 7-14 days to resolve. This process has been ongoing for 2 months and is unacceptable.
