Empty promises and lack of service

I requested my Telkom line to be moved on the 1st of December 2013 and my previous service to end on the 31st of November 2013. This was done via the online form on their website. Telkom confirmed this but could only help me on the 18th of December. I duly took the day off and waited patiently for Telkom to arrive on the 18th of December. At 14:00 on the 18th, I phoned the call centre to confirm, and was re-assured that they work till 18:00 and I should just wait. 18:00 came and gone. I then waited as instructed till the 24th and still no feedback from Telkom. After calling, they said they were unable to reach me and gave a number they tried calling me on that was NOT the number entered on the online form. Still no ADSL. We rescheduled for the 4th of Jan 2014 which came and gone. Still no ADSL. After calling the call centre numerous times to confirm they have my right contact details and address I was reassured that they will still come. At 14:00 on the 2nd, their call centre was not operational any more and I still have no clue what is going on. Still no ADSL. I was however billed for the period of December for a service I don't even have! Very disappointed.
