My wife and I have been sending and recieving SMS's to/from her parents in Lithuania for the past 8 years, as this is cheaper than international phone calls. The last - 6months or so we could no longer recieve sms messages from them but they could recieve ours. At first we thought the problem was with their service provider but then we had them send an sms to a Vodacom no and what do you know it came through immediately.

We have been to MTN many times and every time they say we have to wait 10 days then it will be fixed, but yet nothing. Now they are saying MTN didn't renew the contract with Lihtuania and there's nothing they can (want to) do about it.

MTN should either fix the problem or cancel both our contracts so we can go to Vodacom where they do know how to do business. If it worked for 8 years they can make it work again.
