I went to the Netherlands in November. I switched offthe data of my phone. And i could not phone people with it. I used my friends wifi.my phone asks me if it needs to be updated. Everytime i left my friends house I would not once receive whats app messages or emails. But when i returned to there house i would hear a lot of messages coming through inone time. Half way through my stay there i receive an sms saying my account is 8000. Next minute i receive an sms saying i need to ignore past billing sms that a mistake was made. After 3weeks i got an sms i owe something around 33000 rand. I email i got no response. My husband phoned they say they cant do anything untill the the month is closed. I got begium and then a dutch chip. I didnt even have the chip in my phone... but the phone bill went up to 42998.98 how is this possible? We have phoned mtn we have hpne past mtn we have emailed mtn. No response. I received an sms today if we dont pay the bill my phone will be suspended. We asked for an itemised bill and things dont add up. It says my mtn 16hours 400.00 but then one time my mtn 4hours 13000. Mtn shop sais my MtN is data. This stinks im very frustrated about mtn service!!!
