High bill without warning

We have a extra phone we only used for weekend minutes. It stayed in the house, and we almost never used it. The wifi was turned on for in the house. For some reason the wifi failed billing period end of July and the bill ran up to more than R3000 for July/August billing period without any sms warnings or anything. The account has been suspended without notification and we only realised this upon receipt of the bill as we havent used the phone for calls in months. We notified customer care and asked for a itimised bill to see why and when or what happened and asked for advice as this is obviously a error that sneaked in and a shocking bill to receive. Please contact us as we have not received any communication from you
