Shocking Service just to fix a fault

Fault was logged on 23.12.2013 ref no. 17BWK231213. I called Telkom call centre to confirm when they would be out to attend to the fault on the line. I was given a period of 48 working hours. Called call centre on 27.12.2013 just to follow up as to when they would be there, only to be told that a technician would be out in 14 to 20 working days. After speaking to the call centre supervisor (Nkululeko), he just transferred me to the tech department without even trying to assist. SHOCKING SERVICE... Now I call the call centre again on the 30.12.2013, to be told that the fault hasn't even been scheduled yet. Even the call centre agent told me that this is not normal and should have been done in the space of 4 days. It's taken them 6 days... SHOCKING SERVICE... So now we've escalated the fault (Ref no. 556272625). Let's see how long it will take them now to assist. I cannot believe how one of our leading service providers cannot even get a simple fault request right or even the information they are handing out to customers. It's so sad when we prove how ridiculous our service is in this country... ABSOLUTLEY SHOCKING...
