My father passed away 3 Sept. 2013. Thus, as his daughter, I wanted to cancel his internet contract with Telkom Mobile as obviously it is no longer being used. The first request for cancellation happened 18/09/2013, but Telkom claims to have lost the Death Certificate which I did actually provide. I went again 10/10/2013 to cancel the contract: I faxed through, emailed through and physically gave the death certificate, copy of ID and case no. to Telkom Mobile numbers, email addresses and the store respectively. I went again and again every few weeks to check if the cancellation happened, each time with a death certificate, my father's copy of ID and the case no. 6722708, and still nothing has been cancelled. In fact, Telkom Mobile still requests monthly payment of my deceased father's internet bill! I am deeply frustrated and unhappy that nothing has been done and that there is no communication available with the cancellation department. Absolute awful and insensitive service. I am tired of wasting my time, petrol and money on a service that should have been done three months ago because incompetent people cannot do their jobs.
