24 Hrs after Sim swap-Still not activated

I went into an MTN Store yesterday to upgrade my contract and was told I needed a micro sim and a sim swap was done and I was informed by the sales lady that it will be activated in 24 hours. I went in again after 24 hours to enquire why my sim was not yet activated and the lady informed me that she will contact me before the end of the day. They are now closed and she did not contact me. How much longer must I go without a phone.
