Went into vodaworld (vodashop) to do an upgrade. I was informed that I will have to pay in a amount to get the phone I want. I showed them that in the brochure this phone is given for free on a smaller package. I was then told that they cant beat this price as its n new deal from a shop in the centre. In order to beat the price I have to produce a pamphlet for MTN/8ta/cellC from outside the centre.
In order for me to be able to do that I will have to leave Vodaworld and get into my car and drive to another outlet to get said pamphlet.
I showed them the offers on my smart phone but they did not want to accept it.
They insisted that I drive and get a pamphlet
IF I DO THAT I MIGHT AS WELL TRANSFER MY NUMBER TO THE OTHER SERVICE PROVIDER .I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER WITH VODACOM FOR YEARS AND SPEND SEVERAL THOUSAND RAND A MONTH ON MY CONTRACTS .BUT IF THIS IS HOW VDC TREAT THEIR EXISTING CUSTOMERS I WILL CONSIDER GOING TO ANOTHER SERVICE PROVIDER
