Vodacom
Internet Inhibitor activated without my knowledge

Telecommunications

Yesterday when I got home and tried to use the internet on my phone I was shown a screen that says; internet inhibitor, this service is not activated on your sim. So I called 155 and they told me that it was a glitch and somehow it had been activated, it apparently takes 24 hrs to deactivate, leaving me at month end with no internet until 7pm tonight and unable to do my banking. I then emailed Vodacom and got a reply mail saying this is and automated mail and we cannot reply unless you supply us with your id number and bank details. What does my banking details have to do with this complaint? So I am now inconvenienced and irritated. My husband works in Namibia and the cheapest way to contact him is via Watsapp wich I now cannot do until 7pm, so for 24hrs. This is unacceptable, I did not activate this inhibitor so why must I be inconvenienced and wait 24 hrs, and when I tried to contact someone via email I need to give banking details. Id appreciate it if someone would call me back and sort this out please.
