I wanted to cancel my current contract with Vodacom as my upgrade was due and I didnt want to continue with Vodacom as there were no deals that suited me: (I am writing this on behalf of my Dad)

I spoke to a sales person in Blue Route Mall who told me I could only process the application to cancel in two months time. This rude person also told me that I was shooting myself in the foot for moving from Vodacom and that I was being really stupid for changing. This all been said I have been waiting for the last three months to wait for the cancellation date. Since then I have spoken to several different sales people who have all said different things about the cancellation date/last date of my contract. I have processed the cancellation papers (a month ago) to ensure that my current contract with switch to prepaid so I can keep my number. I now find out that the paper work was never processed!? I am deeply infuriated with such incompetent! I don't understand why they/Vodacom cannot process such a simple request! I will not wait another month to process the cancellation, Vodacom please get the programme!
