Excuses for not fixing my phone

I sent my iPhone in for repair early in October. The phone was not switching on, and so the job was to get the phone switched on. I didn't hear back from Nashua Mobile on the progress, so in the middle of November I phoned to enquire on the progress. They claimed to have tried contacting me at the beginning of November to tell me to go to the branch where I left the phone as it was returned from the technical repair department with instructions that I remove the "find my iPhone" feature.

So I went to the branch and they gave me the phone, and I couldn't switch it on. This is why I sent it in for repair.

1) Why didn't they get the phone working?
2) Why didn't they contact me?
3) Why did I have to go into the branch to view the dead phone and be unable to do anything about it?

This is unacceptable. They are passing the buck and have done nothing to get the phone working.

I phoned yesterday for an update, and they can't tell me how much longer I will need to wait for my phone. We are heading towards three months of not having a cellphone.

When my contract expires I will definitely move away from Nashua Mobile.
