My mom, a pensioner, took out a Telkom Internet package of R199 per month. After receiving her 1st account, and the staggered amount, she went in to cancel. She then discovered that they were charging her for 2 Internet lines, and for the last 3-4 months her account payments were as high as R1996.00
She went into Telkom 3 times already to stop the access. They have done so after the 3rd attempt, and now the Telkom line is cut completely. My parents are pensioners, my dad is wheelchair bound, and i called Telkom myself to report the line fault to which i got a reference number (3/12/2013) (284CWZ031213) and i explained the urgency of the line being restored, and to date, no one has come to assist my parents.
I need for Telkom to go and do a detailed account of what transpired in the escalated cost that my mom had to pay, even after cancelling her Internet access. Also why has no one been to assist with restoring the Telkom land line as yet
