Insurance department avoiding us?

I have been trying since renewing my contract to cancel my cellphone insurance. I was told by the consultant at the Paddocks in Milnerton Cape Town that the insurance can only be cancelled via phone. I have been put on hold a total for approximately 4 hours already from all the different times I have been calling! I have submitted complaints and have been told I will receive feedback within 7 days, it's been a month! I have been a loyal customer for the last 14 years and this is how my loyalty is treated? Unacceptable!!! R80 has been deducted from my bank account unnecessarily for the past few months. Why am I paying for something I don't need and more importantly why is the insurance department never available so that I can cancel it???
