Cancelled my insurance

June 2013 I called santam call centre to advise them to cancel my insurance. They then said they cannot do so as I took the insurance out with a broker. Then I emailed the broker as I couldn't get hold of him on his cellphone to advise him to cancel my insurance effective 1 July 2013. Up until today he hasn't gotten back to me. I put a stop order on my bank account as a result of nobody getting back to me and santam telling me they cannot cancel it for me. So last week I received a letter from santam saying that they cancelled my insurance due to non payment. What kind of service are they providing if they cant even help their customers. The one thing other insurance companies ask me is if I've ever been cancelled by an insurance. So I phoned santam again and they said they cannot help me and if any other insurance company should phone them they will advise that they cancelled me due to non payment. This is unacceptable!!!
