Vodacom Online Sales delivers a faulty phone

Ordered a Sony Xperia Z1 online on a Smart S contract (28th Nov 2013) the following day the phone displays an error messages saying "Phone not charging ..." (even though it had been charged) and then it shuts down. I charge it for hours but still the phone won't switch on.
I called Vodacom to cancel the contract (as per our 7 day agreement that if the phone gives me problems or I do not like the contract I can cancel) and they tell me that they going to send someone to come take the phone with 7 to 14 DAYS! And two days after that they will begin the cancellation process which takes up to 21 DAYS. Meaning I will spend a month without a phone or at least my Vodacom number which was a pre paid number.
1 One has bothered to come collect the phone, 2 They said I cannot do a SIM swipe because I am still on smart S contract, 3 Cannot do internet banking, every transaction sends an SMS to my number for confirmation, 4 Called Vodacom to speak to a manager to explain my situation they said all managers do not work on weekends, 5 Offered to deliver the phone myself to speed up the process, they said they do not accepts direct deliveries, 6 its been two weeks now i am still waiting
