Telkom downgraded my DSL from 2Mbps to 1Mbps!

I have had a 2Meg DSL line for a couple years now. My ISP is Afrihost and I have no complaints. The speed was always consistent and truly uncapped and unshaped.

But recently, I have been experiencing intermittent problems with the line, I have reported and reported the faults with Telkom, with not much luck.

Now recently, they decided to just downgrade my DSL line to a 1Meg lime! I phone them, and they say it's a 4Meg lime.i am at my wits end! LLU please come, we need to end this monopolistic control on our Telecommunications infrastructure!

We are supped to be the Hub of Africa, yet our overall ITU statistics reveal we are far behind many other African countries,

It's time for change!
