Vodacom
Making client feels like a criminal

Telecommunications

What a horrible experience I just had. Never in my life have I been falsely accused of something that I did not do. Last week on the 16th of May I visited the Absa Vodacom Branch in Johannesburg to do my upgrade for my contract. I received a new Blackberry Curve as that is what was available for my package. When I got home that evening I opened the box, took the phone out and inserted the batery. To my urprised the cover did not want to close. I tried this once more and my duagher suggested that I rather leave it and take it back for Vodacom to exchange as there was cleary something wrong with the back cover. I could only go back today (22 May) as I dont always work in Johannesburg. Now the manager is accusing me of presure marks on the phone (as if I tried to force the cover on). How is that possible. I have been using BlackBerry for 4 years and scertainly knows how to take off a cover and re-attach it again. I have never felt so humiliated in my life before. Now the phone has to be send away (a phone that has never even been switched on) for the technicians to investigate and me being inconvenienced as I once again will have to go back to a shop that treated me like a criminal.
