Changed contracts from CellC to Vodacom. The sales person is meant to ask for the number to be ported from the original network to the new network. Despite numerous phone calls he insisted that the request was put through. He did not follow up until I went back to the shop and he phoned the porting section only to discover that due to some hitch (probably he did not do it properly), the request never went through. It is now three days since I signed the contract and I am still waiting for Vodacom to register my number.
