Second complaint! So I got the MTN 2gig internet contract through FNB, the device was faulty and did not work, so I had to cancel it, it was cancelled within 5 days of receiving it, they assured me that the contract was cancelled and that the money WILL NOT be taken out of my account for this, I spent alot of money trying to get the sim to work, driving to nearby MTN shop which is 1hr away and phoning every day! now I have spent a total of R1200 on something that does not work!! They took R135 out my account for contract and an additional R399.99 for collection? FNB has been struggling to get MTN to collect the modem and now the money has been taken out my account before Xmas! I have had it with them! Anyone reading this, please DO NOT EVER get a contract with Mtn!!! I now have no surity of knowing if they will ever stop taking money out of my account, they dont ask authorisation for any amount, they just take it! Even though FNB has assured me that the money wont go off, they have no control over what Mtn does at the end of the day, lets hope after this complaint that Mtn can give me some assurance and give me back the money they from me!
