No one can figure out what phone I have

Telecommunications

On the 30th of December I got myself the iPhone 5 as an upgrade to my contract. On the 2nd of January I decided that I want to try and enable the Visual Voicemail feature for the iPhone 5. I tried it by sending the "vvm on" to 123 where I got a message to say my handset is not supported. After troubleshooting with *111#, I found out that the network still thinks I've got a Samsung Galaxy S2... After about 5 calls, and a bit more than a week, there is still no one at Vodacom that knows how to change this on the network... Every time I call they keep on telling me that the engineers are busy with the problem, but come on... how long does it take to update your systems! I'm losing more and more faith with every day I have to wait...
