MTNloaded upgrade fiasco

Telecommunications

MTN e-mail users trying to log on, now get the following notifications :

"To meet the growing demand of the current MTN email service, MTN will be performing infrastructure upgrades."
- about time. It hasn't been updated in 5 years I've been using it; boasts a measly 10MB -cap!

"During this infrastructure upgrade, please note that customers will only be able to access emails on the website"
- What they fail to mention is that although you can ACCESS your e-mails, you can't SEND any!
trying to do so (e.g. like me trying reply to an urgent customer query) generates an error message :
"There was an error sending your message: Failed to connect to localhost:25
[SMTP: Invalid response code received from server (code: 421, response:
Too many concurrent SMTP connections; please try again later.)]"

"The upgrade is anticipated to be concluded by the end of March 2013".
END MARCH!!! - my business can't hold out that that long!

"Accessibility to the site and performance may also be affected."
- No s@%t, Sherlock!

Shoot me now...
