I have phoned Telkom 10210 on 16 November requesting them to transfer my line from one premises to another. I have asked them to do this on 19 November, which I was promised it will be done. Needless to say, it did not happen. I just received a call from the techician (Sylvestar) informing me he will be phoning me back after he confirmed his order with his office. Needless again to say, I am still waiting for his call. I phoned 10210 again, and was promised again the transfer will be done the next day. But still no line being transferred. This procedure happened 3 times with promises for transfer the next day. On Friday 29 November, I phoned again, and this time the operator told me the previous times the job was not put on the jobcard for the technician, but she personally has done so now and my line WILL be installed Monday 2 December. Needless to say, no line was transferred, not even a call explaining why. This is really not acceptable! I need my line as I run an office from my house as well.
