Magic Numbers and Exorbitant Sundry Charges

I'd like to complain about the latest statement I received from Vodacom stated as R7, 117. I don't understand where this magic number comes from. I had two contracts, 1 for a Galaxy Note II (R399) and the other a laptop (R489), which I paid an average of R940 a month. I went on maternity leave beginning of July, and the following month I was not able to pay in full and paid R500. The following months my accounts were suspended because of my financial position. I called vodacom to find out if I could stall my installments and was told that it's not possible and that I should at least make a partial payment, I understood and made partial payments in the months to follow. At the end of October I called again to find out how much would be due at the end of the month (i.e. November) and I was told about R3300, I prepared myself for the huge bill at the end of the month, only to my amazement to receive a statement stipulating that I owe R7, 117.I've tried to contact them to get a full statement and they cannot access my details. The weird thing, I was told I used up a lot of data in a month my account was suspended. I don't understand how the calculation of my bill leads to this "magic number".
