VODACOM UNABLE/UNWILLING TO XFER ACCOUNT

I am assisting the surviving spouse (who is also the executor of the estate) of a Vodacom customer who died in October. The cell phone account was in the name of the deceased and we want to transfer the account into the name of the widow of the deceased. As she has no credit record Vodacom do not want to transfer the account into her name. Although I can understand this, there is no logic whatsoever as the widow is continuing with the exact same business activities as the family where involved in before the husband died. We also offered to run the account on a credit basis, ie to pay in advance, but no go! Vodacom gets stuck on the issue that the wife is not credit worthy as she has no credit record!!
