On Thursday the phone said no sim card. I went to MTN at Hypermarket Brackenfell and they advised me to do a sim swap. This will take 2 to 24 hours. Monday morning I went back to the store to check as it was still not active. After phoning MTN (which told me they have no request for a sim swap) we popped into the store. Martie told me some story and it will be active within half hour. At 11H35 I contacted them again to which MTN told me again their is nothing on their system and we need to give it another 2 to 24 hours. Nothing again. Spoke to a gentle man Bantani at MTN call centre which made me hold on for 30 minutes after I insisted to speak to his senior as he told me there is nothing he can do as I need to go back to the store. Which the store told us to just wait. It is humanly impossible to deal with MTN as they do not even care and he just hung up after making me hold on for 30 minutes and then told me he still waiting for his senior. So both the Store and MTN just did not care.
Our business is dependent on the cell phone which have now been off for 4 days of no business, so yes we would be upset as MTN clearly don't care.
