This is continued from a previous post.
I have Cell C swoosh modem. I was overbilled. I struggled to get someone from customer service to contact me. Finally I received an answer: "Sipho advised us that he has been in contact with you and you requested a detailed data usage report. He sent you proof of usage for your data line."
It took two weeks to get the usage report. My contract is R300 for 5gig per month. I used 10gig in Jan and was billed an extra R2000.
Normally a gig costs me R60, in Jan Cell C billed me an extra R2, 000 for the extra 5 gig which is R400 per gig.
My normal debit order went off again, but I haven't been able to use my modem for half the month. I'm still disconnected.
I would like Cell C to:
1. Explain how they can bill me so much per gig;
2. Provide me with proof where I agreed to allow them to bill be such an exorbitant amount;
3. Refer me to an ombudsman that handles these types of disputes.
4. Reconnect me so that I can use the modem.
